Rewarding Community Service to Give Back and Get Involved
Blair Senior Services, Inc. provides many volunteer opportunities for local senior residents who want to get involved or give back to the community. Through our VOICE program, we provide internal volunteer opportunities that support many of our departments’ programs. We also support Senior Corps programs through the Corporation for National & Community Service that enable seniors to help the broader community. That means that we have something for every senior volunteer, wherever, whenever, and for whomever you most wish to serve. Volunteering your time, talent, and skill is a critical and rewarding endeavor that supports the growing needs of our community.
Senior Corps, Foster Grandparent,
and Senior Companion Volunteer Programs
While Agency volunteer positions do have minimum age requirements, the Senior Corps programs are open to anyone 55 years old or above. However, some opportunities, such as the Foster Grandparent & Senior Companion programs have income limitations since volunteers receive a stipend for service hours.
