Volunteer Opportunities

Blair Senior Services, Inc. provides volunteer opportunities through both the Corporation for National & Community Service programs which targets broad community impact, and internal opportunities which support many department operations. Whether meeting the needs of older adults or mentoring children, volunteering your time, talent and skill is a critical and rewarding effort in supporting the growing needs of our community.   While Agency volunteer positions do have minimum age requirements, the Senior Corps programs are opportunities for persons 55+ years of age.  Both Foster Grandparent & Senior Companion programs have certain income limitations since a stipend is received for associated service hours.

National & Community Service Programs (Senior Corps)
"I am much healthier and have a purpose in life thanks to my volunteer opportunity serving children with the Foster Grandparent Program."
"The program gives me a reason to get up and get going each day and benefits my clients."
