Transportation Specialist

Blair Senior Services, Inc., the Area Agency on Aging for Blair County and a non-profit organization, is recruiting to fill a full-time position located at our Transportation Office in Hollidaysburg.  As a result of this high demand for service, we’re looking for someone to assist with daily program operations which include determining consumer eligibility for various funding sources, verifying accuracy of data, maintaining communication with the drivers and assisting with continuous program development to ensure we’re meeting the needs of our consumers.  

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation/Logistics or a related field and one year of relevant experience is preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and advanced computer skills are also required.  The starting hourly wage is $13.11- $14.42 commensurate with experience.
